Welcome to the 29th Annual Diners Club International Pro-Am Classic

Each year, the Diners Club International® hosts the elite Pro-Am Classic golf event. After a one-year hiatus for the protection of our participants, we are excited to resume with improved health and safety measures in our 29th year.

Select cardmembers from across the globe qualify to play in this 36-hole tournament over two courses at a five-star golfing resort. Since the tournament began in 1991, it has welcomed cardmembers from across the globe including Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Argentina, Italy, Germany, Austria, Spain, Slovenia, Serbia, Finland, Poland, Norway, Denmark, Croatia, India, South Africa, Korea, the United Arab Emirates and China.

The Diners Club International Pro-Am Classic grand final has been staged at world-class golfing destinations in South Africa, Spain, Portugal, the USA, Mauritius and the UAE. To celebrate the 29th year, we’re traveling to a new location: the distinguished city of Girona in Catalonia, Spain. Acclaimed for its rich history and as the gastronomic capital of the country, Girona is also home to the number one golf course in Spain—the Stadium Course at PGA Catalunya Resort.

To help protect our guests against exposure to the COVID-19 virus, we are taking extensive health and safety measures that include:

  • PPE – Masks and personal hand sanitizer provided
  • Hand sanitizing stations throughout the hotel and on golf course
  • Masks required at all times except while actively eating or drinking
  • Strict monitoring of mask mandate and social distancing
  • Floor clings indicating 6-foot social distancing where appropriate
  • Tables and chairs set up with 6-foot distancing
  • Individual boxed or plated meals and snacks
  • Small coach transportation to allow for social distancing
